Antique Empire Dresser Restoration

 This Mahogany Chest of Drawers, sat in twenty four inches of water after hurricane Katrina. The drawers were all swollen shut and the base was off the dresser floating in the room. All veneers are original to the piece. The only missing pieces were some corner glue blocks on the interior of the cabinet.  After hand stripping and a complete reglue of the cabinet and drawers, a light red mahogany stain and finish were applied, bringing the piece back to its original glory.
